What some of our clients had to say, after their Bareboat, Skippered, or Crewed sailing holiday with us

'We all had an absolutely fantastic holiday. Thank you for recommending Touch - she was a lovely boat, but the crew were ace, and that makes all the difference however nice the boat. To respond to your feedback queries in order: Petar was very efficient in Dubrovnik, friendly and informative. It was too hot to ask for a tour during the day, so we'll go back when it's cooler to see the city in more detail during daylight hours. We had a delightful few evenings in the old town. Petar helped us on to the boat as arranged. The crew were wonderful. I felt sorry that I hadn't asked on your preference form for them to interact with us even more, but when you fill out those forms it seems safest to go for the middle ground. As it was, they were very friendly but respectful at all times. They seemed delighted to bring out the dressing up box, leading to a couple of hilarious fancy dress parties. The deckhand, filmed the entire holiday and set it to music on DVD for us to take home as a souvenir.. Andy was, as might be expected, the straight man, but we admired his attention to detail. When he said it would take so long to reach somewhere, or that we would be leaving at a certain time, you could be certain it would happen. We always had a good anchorage or berth, and didn't appear to get messed about too much by the clipboard hitlers at the ports (although he probably kept all that well hidden).

The yacht looked beautiful - very clean, with (I thought) very feminine and graceful lines. Decor-wise on the inside, the salon had everything we and the kids could want - bar, games table and big tv. . There were plenty of toys, and nobody missed jetskiing. The meals were amazing. The chef, Jules, produced perfect light and tasty lunches, and wonderful dinners - there wasn't one thing that didn't get gobbled up (apart from the shameful rejection of one or two Michelin star quality puddings because we were too full to eat them).

Re the itinerary, we all absolutely loved Miljet, Korcula, Vis, and Hvar (where we stayed two nights and the teens watched the sun come up after dancing in the fort all night). We missed Split as a result, but buzzed it in the tender. Trogir, Skradin and the Kornatis were nice, and I enjoyed cycling along the banks of the Krka in the national park. . We should really have stayed at Birunji for a couple of days, which was absolutely charming and had a golf course. I gather it would have cost a lot to dock there overnight, but I would recommend making it an option, with a tender over to see the Pula amphitheatre and old town. Rovinj was also charming and it would have been nice to stay there longer, but we had to leave to beat some weather.

With regard to your service, we can't fault your recommendations! Thanks for everything - keep up the good work!'

'Check - in – easy, and had a wonderful greeting by the captain and crew.
Captain & Crew – perhaps the best aspect, they were hugely accommodating, and made us feel very welcome, Meals - even though we stopped at various restaurants along the way, the overriding comment was that the best meals were on the boat. That chef, even though he was only 20 years old, produced fantastic meals, and exactly according to the meal request plan I sent – and all that out of the smallest and hottest kitchen I think I’ve ever seen – brilliant! Yacht cleanliness – clean as a whistle, Check out – a little early given our hangovers, but easy all the same'

Absolutely amazing, thanks. Menderes was his old "nervously-attentive to every detail" self and the waitress was pure genius. The cook was far too good (half a stone damage in a week) and the deckhand was charming and hard-working.
