Croatia is a country of 1185 islands islets and reefs mostly uninhabited and preserved perfect for Luxury crewed yacht charter. Croatia is now recognised as one of the most popular cruising grounds in Europe interesting to sailors worldwide due to the number of enchanting islands those crystal clear waters & generally calm protected seas. The cruising grounds can be divided into two distinct regions:
 
ISTRIA in the North with well know towns of Porec Unesco World Heritage listed Rovinj and Pula with its Roman Amphitheatre. The famous Brijuni islands once presidents Tito's private retreat can also be found of this coastline. Venice is only a short sail from the Istrian coast.

DALMATIA comprises the central & Southern Regions. Some of the better known towns along the Dalmatian coast are Dubrovnik Split and Trogir all of them listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The renaissance architecture of Hvar or Korcula typical unspoiled Dalmatian Island villages of Vis or Brac natural parks of Mljet & Telascica and National parks of Krka Waterfalls & the Kornati islands..these sites make only few highlights on your itinerary.

The Dalmatian coast and islands have Mediterranean type of climate with hot sunny summers, sometimes disturbed by thundery rain showers. During July and August it can be very hot (up to 38 degrees). June and September are best months if you prefer to avoid excessive heat, and on the Dalmatian Coast May and October as well. Croatian winds can be characterized as being light to moderate from September to June with occasional storms, while July and August are generally calm with more frequent storms. During periods of high pressure, the Adriatic displays the classic rhythms of winds from the sea during the day and winds from land during the night.

Due to Croatian maritime law, Non - Croatian flagged charter yachts, which comprises of most Superyachts, Megayachts & the larger motor yachts, and sailing yachts visiting the region, can only embark, or disembark, their guests in Croatia. In these cases boarding, or disembarking in either Venice, Slovenia or Kotor in Montenegro ( 90 mins Dubrovnik airport, 20 mins Tivat airport), is an excellent option.
